This makes them easy-to tear-off one at a time for speed and efficiency and there's no need for liners which saves on material costs. These ready-to-use Stikit™ discs feature a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backs simply press the disc onto the backup pad and you're ready-to go. They remove just as cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. We recommend using Stikit™ discs with 3M™ Stikit™ disc pads. For best results, we recommend use with the 3M™ Stikit™ disc roll dispenser 05450. With its open-coat construction and aluminum oxide mineral abrasive, our 3M™ Stikit™ gold disc roll 236U provides a sharp cut more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. Durable C-weight paper backing makes the disc ideal for more aggressive jobs such as paint stripping around damaged areas and shaping filler. The Stikit™ gold disc roll 236U is available in a range of sizes and works with all collision repair substrates including bare metal, e-coat, clear coat, fiberglass, paint, primer and plastic. Open coat construction means the abrasive grains on our 3M™ Stikit™ gold disc roll 236U are placed with space between them to help clear sanding dust and other debris which avoids clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The anti-loading coating also allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding materials that would otherwise clog the disc.
