3M™ SUN GUN™ II light kit provides a light source that replicates natural sunlight, allowing technicians to better match paint colors. The 3M™ SUN GUN™ II can also help identify pre-painting defects such as pin holes and scratches as well as post-painting defects such as swirls marks, burn through, sand scratches and dirt nibs. Use the 3M™ PPS™ color match film to spray out the selected color for evaluation. Once sprayed and dried, peel away from backing and stick to vehicle, stand back with the 3M™ SUN GUN™ II and shine from any angle. Regardless of existing weather and lighting conditions, no matter where the vehicle or substrate is located in the facility, the 3M™ SUN GUN™ II light kit will help the painter assess and select the paint that best represents the actual color of the vehicle or substrate being repaired.
