3M™ automotive attachment tape 06394 is a good choice for attaching heavier automotive trim and parts such as spoilers and running boards. It features a thick 0.09 in closed cell acrylic foam core that delivers strength and conformability on contoured surfaces. A high performance plasticizer-resistant acrylic adhesive is applied to both sides and delivers high peel and shear adhesion. Featuring a thick, gray 2.28 mm closed cell acrylic foam core, our 3M™ automotive attachment tape 06394 is a good choice for permanent attachment to traditional auto paint systems on heavier components, such as cladding, spoilers and rocker panel moldings, where bonding surface contours or a thick foam is required. The core of this OEM approved attachment tape provides a blend of strength and conformability which allows for consistent wet out. The foam core also features viscoelastic properties that allow it to elongate and relax when put under load, minimizing stress on the adhesive bond line and maintaining a permanent, reliable hold. A durable acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to both sides of the foam core and delivers high peel performance and shear strength as well as resistance to plasticizers. The 1/2 in tape width makes it suitable for applying a versatile range of components. A red 3M branded liner provides easy 1-piece release for efficient application.
