3M™ Weatherban™ ribbon sealant PF 5422 is a thread reinforced preformed butyl rubber sealant tape. it offers a watertight, gasket-like seal around window and door frames and glass bedding applications. This sealant can also act as a metal seam sealer in overlap seams, building panels, rain gutters and can be used in conjunction with mechanical fasteners. 3M™ Weatherban™ ribbon sealant PF 5422 offers outstanding resistance to weathering and develops good adhesion to glass, metal and most other surfaces. it is often used for applications demanding high tack, aggressive adhesion, weather-resistance and flexibility. Protective liner and sealant are different widths for easy release, with no special equipment required for application. Sealant stays in position on vertical or overhead surfaces and is repositionable during application. it builds aggressive adhesion over time.
