POR 15® high build primer provides sandable and buildable coating that can be applied over cured POR 15® rust preventive coating and all POR 15® topcoats to enable quick refinishing and recoating of these products. POR 15® high build primer is a single component formula that fills in minor Imperfections. POR 15® high build sandable primer adheres well to steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass and other primed and painted surfaces. We developed this special interlocking primer after many requests from customers who wanted a coating with special adhesion characteristics that make it perfect for most painted surfaces, especially POR 15® rust preventive coating. This tie coat primer is highly resistant to penetrating topcoats, like lacquers, enamels and two component finishes. It sands very smoothly, as well.
